Milwaukee Commercial Photographer: Marquette’s Innovation Kitchen!

Marquette invited us to the grand opening of their Innovation Kitchen, a new living classroom of sorts! We thought the idea was so cool that we wanted to share it with everyone!

After nearly seven months of construction, the kitchen began hosting events Tuesday, January 23. Some events, such as “Breakfast for Dinner,” will feature traditional foods. Other events will explore cultural or seasonal cuisines, such as “Chinese New Year” or “Sushi 101”. The space features large TVs for the newly-hired chef to showcase recipes step-by-step. While he’s hooked up to a mic, chef Jim Udulutch will talk through the process as students watch from long tables. Afterward, students are served the event’s dish.

This evening the area was hopping with many folks coming out to celebrate this latest addition to Marquette’s diverse array of offerings. From food stations to signature cocktails it was a great debut for a really cool concept.
