Bartolotta Hosts G9 with Andrew Zimmern at Northwestern Mutual
We have been covering the G9 Golden Celebration for a number of years now and never fail to be inspired by the story and drive of its founder Annie. After losing her brother to cancer, she became passionate about raising funds to support childhood cancer research.
Her dedication has lead to some creative fundraising ideas. One of them is this annual dinner hosted by the Bartolotta’s. Every year they bring in a different celebrity chef to create a very memorable evening for all those who attend. This year, the guest chef was Andrew Zimmern, best known as the co-creator, host, and consulting producer of the Travel Channel series Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Bizarre Foods America, Andrew Zimmern’s Bizarre World, and Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations. For his work on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern he was presented the James Beard Foundation Award in 2010 and another in 2013.

The new Northwestern Mutual building is an amazing space for any elegant gathering.
The evening is especially entertaining because there is a live feed from the kitchen to the ballroom, showing everyone what is happening behind the scenes before they get to try all the delicious food!
Andrew Zimmern regaled the crowd with tales of bizarre food experiences spanning the globe.
After all the entertainment and amazing food, everyone was in a very giving mood when it came time for the real reason everyone was there: to raise funds to find a cure for childhood cancer.
