Isabel & AJ
Milwaukee Engagement Session
Every Milwaukee Engagement Session starts with a proposal story. This one happens with Boston as the backdrop. Which we love because Front Room has early roots in Boston – Neil & his wife lived there for a period of time back in the day.
Isabel tells us the proposal story in her own words: “AJ proposed while we were on vacation in Boston over Memorial Day. We had a nice steak dinner and he told me he really wanted to take a stroll on the Harbor Walk (even though my foot was bothering me at that point). We found a nice sport that had the Boston skyline in the background, he got down on one knee and the rest is history!”
We ask a series of fun questions when we first start talking to couples, partially, to get to know them and their story. Partially to see what photographer might be a good fit with their personalities. Isabel told us:
“We both really enjoy the late 90s/early 2000s alternative rock. Besides that, I enjoy classical music, I’ve been playing the violin since I was 7. We really aren’t that picky when it comes to music. Neither of us are big into country music though 🙂 In a wedding photographer, I’m looking for someone who captures moments rather than only poses. I also am looking for a mix of formal and fun photos. I think a wedding is a celebration and the photos should convey that. An image that excites me is one that shows the raw emotion of the moment.”
Their dislike of country music, love of playing a musical instrument along with looking for raw emotion and moments in their photography screamed Eron. And we were so thrilled when they agreed and chose to work with him!

“We both enjoy trying new bars and restaurants. We also have started brewing our own beer (the first batch turned out pretty well). Every week we also participate in a bar trivia league. We try to stay active and enjoy biking and running 5ks. We also have two cats, so lounging around with them is pretty fun too.” – Isabel
