Milwaukee Commercial Photographer: Goodwill Creates Opportunity!
As a Milwaukee commercial photographer, there is a wide range of stories to tell that come our way. Many of them are really inspiring and are a big part of why we love our job. Goodwill has been the source of many of those stories over the years. It’s funny, our working relationship with Goodwill is rooted in anything but the genuine. Initially, we were brought in to breathe new life into their now award winning, hilarious billboard campaign. Through that early success working together, our relationship has grown to where we shoot all of their Success Stories as well.
These stories highlight not only the good work that Goodwill does within the community, but, more poignantly, the incredibly inspirational journey the subject has been on. Here we feature a couple stories. One is of a young man’s journey who has overcome some early life obstacles to find a career in the restaurant industry. When he is flying around the kitchen creating gourmet delicacies, it’s hard to even identify the physical challenges that would have sapped many people of the will to thrive. The other is of a young woman with the will to work hard, all she lacked was opportunity. Now, through the help of Goodwill, they both have achieved something they and everyone around them can be extremely proud of.
These experiences that we have as a Milwaukee commercial photographer remind us of the power and responsibility corporations have to help the community around them. We are all stronger together and sometimes something seemingly little can have a large effect. Keep this in mind when you’re doing your spring cleaning! The donations that you make to Goodwill definitely give folks down on their luck access to affordable goods. But the do something else, as well. They help support Goodwill’s admirable corporate mission. “Goodwill Industries International is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization. With your help, we advocate for public policies that provide job training programs, employment placement services and other local programs for people having a hard time finding employment.”
