Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Bridget & Jeremiah (and family)!
When Bridget and Jeremiah called us, a Milwaukee engagement photographer was the LAST thing they were looking for. They were planning their Iron Horse wedding, so they knew they needed a photographer. But, Jeremiah isn’t the biggest fan of photos. Spending extra money and time hanging out with a photographer when he didn’t absolutely have to wasn’t in the game plan. However, Bridget’s ears perked up when she heard that this experience is custom made for folks like Justin.
From the get go, she was a bit concerned about how Jeremiah would handle the clicking of the cameras and the attention on the wedding day and factored that into her choosing Eron as their photographer. Once she heard about the real reason Front Room loves engagement sessions (no, they aren’t just for save the date cards), she thought this would be the perfect way for Jeremiah to feel completely at ease with the process.
When Eron nearly insisted they bring the kids along for a family photo, the engagement session was inked into the schedule. They chose Retzer Nature Center as the locale for its majestic trees and colorful flowers.
As it turned out, they were racing an impending rain shower most of the shoot, which was not a problem for this crew. A few nice photos and they were happy to be done. Though Bridget did express a number of times how much better everyone did with the photographic attention than she expected.
Eron saw this field of Black-Eyed Susans (above) and couldn’t resist planting Bridget and Jeremiah right on the edge of it. It was so nice to see all that stunning color! With the light fading and the rain threatening, they were able to sneak into the tall trees and make some of everyone’s favorite images from the shoot (below).
