Milwaukee Senior Photographer: A Special Gift!

As a Milwaukee senior photographer, we get to interpret young adults as they are about to enter into the next phase of life. Bringing out the true personality of someone in this transitionary phase can be a fun challenge and is always very rewarding. This senior portrait went beyond that for some very special reasons.

This family actually wandered into our studio one day thinking they had a reservation with us for their son’s portrait. As it turned out, they had called a different company and had to quickly scramble to the correct studio to make their appointment on time. They called us the following week to apologize for the confusion and thank us for our graciousness. In that conversation, they also revealed how disappointed they were in the photos they received and the experience they had.

For many years, this mom was looking forward to witnessing her son’s portrait. This was a milestone she was anticipating and wanted to be present for it so she could add it to all her memories she had shared with her son as he grew up. Unfortunately, she was not allowed in the studio no matter how nicely she asked. The whole family left a bit frustrated. Once they received the photos they were underwhelmed to say the least.

It’s not often our photographic super powers are called upon, but this was one of those times. We knew what we had to do. Understanding they had already spent their senior portrait budget (and not looking to profit from their frustration), we made them an offer they couldn’t refuse: come in for the session of your dreams at no charge.

There are so many times that it’s too late to right a wrong. When we stumble upon a situation like this at the right time, it puts our hearts in a great place to be able to do something nice for someone.
