Anodyne Wedding: Ally & Michael!

We have long coveted having an Anodyne wedding because we love their space and we love their coffee! Ally and Michael finally gave us our chance when they chose Amanda to capture their New Year’s Eve Anodyne wedding! It was a perfect fit on all levels. “Amanda was amazing. I think she made the flow of our wedding happen. Not to mention I’m dying over these sneak peek photos,” Ally later told us. Ally and Michael really did their research when choosing vendors and made sure they had a strong team around them on their big day. “Catering by Chef John from Red Onion Cafe in Racine was amazing and cost-efficient. Anodyne Coffee Shop was a great venue, and although Erica came in the middle of planning, she was so organized and a welcome addition to the team. They also allowed us to drop stuff off the day before and could keep things until the next day. The bar kept up with my guests at all times.” There are so many little things that can make a huge difference to your stress level when putting a wedding on. It’s great to work with people that go out of their way to help.

Ally and Michael’s dog Nola couldn’t be at the wedding, but she was the star of the morning. Nola was Ally’s dog before she met Michael but they are totally a little family unit now.

This is clearly a classy wedding party, but Nola’s presence takes this group to a whole new level.

It’s nice to see Wisconsin in winter looking so pretty. They barely even look cold (they really were!).

Anodyne Coffee Shop is such a nice space for an informal wedding. If your goal as a couple is to have a straightforward party with your friends and family, with no fuss and no muss, it would be hard to find a better location.

Amanda wasn’t sure Ally and Michael would be up for this champagne experiment in the cold, but they were eager to do it. The results were stunning!
