Grain Exchange Wedding: Jen & Kyle!
Jen and Kyle’s Grain Exchange wedding was all they could have hoped for. A smooth, fun morning of preparation led to a moving ceremony at Old St. Mary’s. Some fun times with the wedding party around town climaxed with an amazing party at Grain Exchange. Amanda was looking forward to this wedding for awhile as the months between the booking and the wedding date slipped away. In the end, it lived up to and even surpassed everyone’s admittedly high expectations. This was one of the few weddings when we heard about most of the details from the father of the bride, Gary (or as we affectionately call him in the office, “Gar”), who is the sweetest guy we’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. That was a tip-off that this wedding would be very special (not that they all aren’t) in it’s own way.
There’s nothing like the joyous hug of a grandmother the morning of your wedding day. We all hope our aging relatives are still around to help us celebrate the big events in life. These types of moments are the ones that never fail to move us.
We get the honor of photographing a lot of weddings at the Grain Exchange. Each time we enter this stunning room, it’s always exciting to see how their amazing staff and the talented vendors have transformed it. In this case, the lighting by Sound by Design, the cake by The Cake Lady, the floral arrangement by Impressions by Esther, and the table decor from BBJ Linen made an amazing impression on everyone as they entered the room.
