Third time’s a charm for these outdoorsy cuties. Two very fleeting meetings came and went, but Rob and Suzie hadn’t really made an impression on each other. One Saturday night, Rob ventured out downtown to meet up with Emily and Suzie. Finally able to have more than a few moments together, they hit it off. A few drinks and a little dancing later, Rob came to the rescue when Suzie needed to avert an ex by posing as her fake boyfriend. Soon after, he didn’t have to pretend anymore and they began their romance, hiking, traveling and camping all along the way.
Their Lapham Peak State Park engagement session is almost reminiscent of their proposal story. They visit her boss’s townhouse in Bend and although she had a sneaking suspicion it was coming, it didn’t make it any less perfect! He proposed to her at the foot of Proxy Falls in the Cascade Mountains, marking a momentous moment with a gorgeous location to match.
We say it’s reminiscent because the two did what they do best – hike and camp! Amanda had hurt herself walking the week of their original session date and they were so kind and agreed to delay their session. During their Lapham Peak State Park engagement session, they were one with the outdoors and made a mean few cups of hot chocolate. We’re excited to see what their woodland wonderland looks like come this September!
