Pritzlaff Wedding: Carrie & Casey!

Carrie and Casey overcame some challenges while planning their Pritzlaff wedding. Planning a wedding is never easy, but working around a professional baseball player’s schedule poses a unique set of obstacles. Taking off from work an hour early to meet the florist just isn’t an option in their situation. Sitting on the couch together browsing websites and dreaming about the big day only happens during home stands. But Carrie knew who she was marrying and the schedule that came with it. After all, they met during college when Casey was playing summer baseball in Eau Claire and Carrie interned for his team. Their connection to each other and excitement for their Pritzlaff Wedding was clear from the first time we spoke and it never wavered.

Their day began at The Iron Horse Hotel, one of Milwaukee’s most character-filled hotels. The big selling point for them was the open door policy on dogs. It was really important that Lyla and Gatsby make an appearance this day and their first look was the perfect opportunity!

Carrie and Casey have always had a place in their hearts for rescuing dogs. That is how they met came upon Lyla, who along with Gatsby, are the loves of their lives. In honor of that love, rather than having guests clink their glasses to get them to kiss, they used the occasion to ask everyone to make a donation to The Humane Society!
