The Legend at Brandybrook Wedding: Becca & Troy!
Becca and Troy’s Legend at Brandybrook wedding was like a dream. It was a perfect autumn day that spanned the length of Delafield and everything went as smooth as could be. There were many hands helping them make this day happen, but at the helm of everything was their coordinator, Elizabeth from Evenement. As Becca explains. “Whether you think you need full scale wedding planning services, or very little help at all, you must hire some sort of wedding coordination, and Elizabeth from Evenement was amazing! From early on she did everything from providing design inspiration that helped shape the look and theme of our wedding, to creating and managing the “day of” timeline, and coordinating vendors. There is so much work done behind the scenes that, as the bride and groom, you shouldn’t have to worry about anything on your wedding day, so just hire some help!”
The classic yet contemporary Delafield Hotel was where the day began. It’s a perfect setting for all the wedding day preparations.
Now that looks like a man who’s ready to get married!
Neil and Amanda were clearly in sync on this day. Unbeknownst to each other, they each used the same window light in the same room to create this matching set of bride and groom portraits for Becca and Troy.
Victory Memorial Chapel at St. John’s Military Academy is widely known for its signature red doors. It an iconic location for Becca and Troy’s first look.
We love the subtle superhero theme Troy worked into the plan! The groomsmen had matching socks and cufflinks. And his sister had a Wonder Woman logo in her bouquet(see below).
When a day this detailed goes this smoothly, it takes a whole team coming together. From Becca: “Our favorite wedding detail was simply how smoothly and seamlessly the day happened which is a testament to getting started early, and having quality vendors who are experts in their field. Like they say ‘you get what you pay for’. Whether it was Elizabeth from Evenement coordinating everything, or Neil and the Front Room team, or the flowers from Jane Kelly, our locations, Sound By Design, I could go on and on… we got started early and we booked amazing, professional, vendors, and everything went off with just 1 “hitch” (us getting married)!!!”
That’s a little bridal humor from our lovely bride.
Troy and his boys could not let this night go by without reenacting the famous scene from Top Gun and serenading Becca with “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” by the Righteous Brothers.
