When Chelsea and Wesley were planning their St. Stevens Church ceremony and Westmoor Country Club wedding reception, they knew they needed a magical place to stop in between for wedding party photos and beautiful images of the two of them. They chose Boerner Botanical Gardens for the gorgeous array of nature that it provided and hoped for a beautiful day to take advantage of it. In the end, they got so much more! Not only was the said picture perfect, but the night before their wedding Boerner started setting up their China Lights display! This ended up providing a whimsical backdrop they never anticipated. For a bride that used to work at Disney, this could not have been a more fortuitous circumstance.

Wesley also felt like he had wished upon a star. He had the girl of his dreams – they made their getaway from eth church in his prized Corvette and during their honeymoon to Germany they will be attending a Formula One race! It doesn’t get much better than that.

Wesley’s parents went to Boerner Botanical Gardens on their wedding day too! Chelsea and Wesley had to recreate that image. Not to be outdone, his parents reprised their pose from long ago as well! There is nothing better than making the images as personally significant to a couple as we can.
