Teri and Colin had an amazing Schlitz Audubon Nature Center wedding. Planning everything from Oregon, they were extra happy to have the wonderful guidance that we, Shully’s catering and the Schlitz Audubon team could offer them. If there’s one thing they learned through the process, it was to not worry too much about other people’s expectations. “Do what feels right for YOU! Do not worry about what is not “traditional” or trying to please everyone. The day should be a reflection of the couple,” Teri said.

We asked them what some of their favorite aspects of their wedding were and Teri’s list was surprising! “A cheese wheel cake- it was “Wisconsin” but still elegant and fun and a fairly uncommon wedding touch. The Raptor Surprise (Colin loves Eagles and was enthralled to see it up close), and my guests loved the unique addition to the cocktail hour as well. S’more’s Table- to bring out the child/playfulness in all of us and, finally, the decor of my linen and centerpieces – simple, elegant and not wedding traditional.”
