Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Becky & Jake!
Being a Milwaukee engagement photographer can get pretty harried in the fall. The opportunities to capture the changing of the leaves runs right up against a jammed calendar, but we do our best to get everyone in. This past year we even opened up some morning slots to try to accommodate everyone. Becky and Jake were game for getting all dolled up before their work day to get these photos taken with Eron before the weather turned.
A morning engagement session was an interesting flip from the early evening magic hour we are accustomed to. It’s refreshing to flip things on end sometimes. It gives us another take on something familiar. The light which normally comes from the west and fades as the shoot goes on was now coming from the east and getting brighter. It’s amazing what new perspectives can be discovered when changing one variable.
To throw an extra variable into the situation, near the end of the shoot the fog started to roll in! That added an element of visual drama that Eron loves to capture. For Becky and Jake, there was no actual drama. This is one of the most laid back couples we have had the pleasure of working with. What a perfect fit for us!
We’ve known Becky and Jake for a while now. We photographed Becky’s brother’s wedding in 2015 where Becky and Jake were in the wedding party. That night was a blast and we expect the same this coming September for Becky and Jake’s Best Place wedding! Every Best Place wedding we have photographed has been a great mix of fun and laid back. There is something about that PBR vibe. That’s what attracted Jake to Best Place and Becky to Jake. Sounds like a great match all around!
