Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Brittany & Bryan!
From the outside, it may seem that being a Milwaukee engagement photographer would entail reinventing the same thing over and over again. After all, how many different ways are there to photograph two people? The beauty of our approach is that it’s more about interpreting people than over-directing them. Getting a couple to an emotional place where they can truly be themselves in front of us is an art unto itself and one that never grows old.
With Brittany and Brian, Eron discussed starting at Hubbard Park. They wanted to take advantage of the fall colors and thought a more casual, beer garden feel suited them. Enjoying a cold beverage can be the perfect start to an engagement session as it settles the nerves and gives a couple an activity to get them comfortable in front of the camera.
They tried out the bike path since the light and trees were perfect there. While it may look like they were risking life and limb as bikers flew by, they were actually safely off the path. Eron was able to use the speedy cyclists as out of focus foreground fodder!
Once they had maximized the opportunities at Hubbard Park, Eron thought it would be a perfect complement to head downtown and wrap up with some early evening photos by the Milwaukee River. On the way, something caught his eye and he decided to stop the caravan on this random side street in Shorewood. Knowing how much Brittany and Bryan wanted to bring the fall colors into their photos, this canopy of colorful trees illuminated by the tail end of a setting sun was too beautiful to pass up.
This view from the Riverwalk is one of our favorites in town. Whether it is mid-day, in this gloaming hour, or in the dead of night it always looks great. But what we love about this photo is the comfortable intimacy that Brittany and Bryan share.
