Chicago Engagement Photographer: Chrissy & Jake!
Eron loves getting to Chicago for an engagement session every once in awhile. Seeing a different array of architecture and nature with which to work is a nice way to shake things up. It’s also nice to experience the couple’s home and work that element into their overall wedding collection.
With Chrissy and Jake, the plan was to start right around their apartment. That way they could get a few shots with their puppy Poppy before carrying on with just the two of them. Eron got their a bit early to look around for opportunities and found a couple of awesome garage doors to work with, one a pop of color (above) and the other a pop of texture (below). It’s amazing what you can find in an alley!
After that it was time to work the bridges and skyline. Eron was taken with this under the bridge look (above) that they discovered as they parked. That’s the fun thing about an engagement session: have a plan, then feel free to veer from it when inspired. It’s a great preview of the way a wedding goes!
