Discovery World Wedding: Amanda & Brett!
Amanda is a good friend and part of our wedding industry, so it was an extra special honor when she called us about her Discovery World wedding. It also means that her words of wisdom are even more valuable than most bride’s.
“My best advice is to focus on what is important to the two of you. The day is all about you and you want to create an experience that reflects your personalities and your relationship together. Enjoy the day TOGETHER, and don’t stress about spending quality time with each and every guest . They are there to show their support in your nuptials and to celebrate along side of you. Above all – go with the flow! :)”, says Amanda.
Amanda’s tips on vendors:
“Front Room Photography goes without saying, of course! We will never forget Eron laying on his belly in the rain on the South Dock of Discovery World to get a great shot. Esther Flemming with Impressions Floral is always my #1 recommendation for my clients, and she created the most gorgeous atmosphere for Brett and I. She helped make a cold, rainy day feel like a beautiful outdoor summer evening. Esther and her fantastic crew go above and beyond to get to know you and create the space of your dreams. Sound by Design provided the string lights that were the cherry on top of a delicious sundae. They are always so easy and fun to work with whether it’s lighting, DJ, or videography. Although our cake was little, the Cake Lady’s hospitality was HUGE. 🙂 The white wood folding chairs from Canopies Events were a fantastic addition to the ambiance, and Margo and Buck are always so helpful and fun to work with!”
