Glacier Hills State Park Wedding: Kim & Hector!

Kim and Hector had unique challenges and a lot of practice at getting married leading up to their Glacier Hills State Park wedding. They met, lived, and got married in Spain. Twice. Then they decided to move to the states and plan a third wedding. While they had many shared memories with Hector’s entire family, they had precious few with Kim’s. These decisions would help them solve both issues. The challenge, of course, was planning a wedding from another continent. Luckily, they had Kim’s mom and the internet on their side and were able to put together a perfect afternoon and evening for those closest to them on this side of the pond.

Their goals were humble: find a beautiful state park and gather everyone to celebrate. In the end, they transformed a park pavilion into a ballroom and were blessed with a simply gorgeous day for their outdoor ceremony. It was a particularly intimate experience that meant the world to all those involved. For some, it was their first chance to meet this dashing Spaniard that makes their Kim so happy.

On the way to Glacier Hills State Park to begin the day, Eron noticed this awesome barn. It ended up becoming the perfect Wisconsin backdrop for wedding party photos and photos of Kim and Hector. It never hurts when stunning sunshine is peeking through the trees to add a little magic to an image.

Kim had spied these tall trees and thought they would be a great setting for photos. Eron couldn’t have agreed more. This group was a blast. Even though half of them couldn’t understand more than a couple words Eron said, the international language of having fun in front of a camera provided all the communication that was necessary to bring out these awesome personalities.
