Grain Exchange Wedding: Elizabeth & Jamie!
The month of May in Wisconsin could bring any kind of weather. Elizabeth and Jamie were thrilled when they awoke to a gorgeous day for their Grain Exchange wedding! Starting out at the classic Hilton Garden Inn for preparations and the equally stately Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist for the ceremony, this day that Elizabeth and Jamie set up was poised for a timeless look. It only made sense to celebrate at the most timeless venue in town, The Grain Exchange. From our first conversations with them, they expressed this goal and we were excited to see how they executed it. “Our wedding feel is traditional. We aren’t into modern styles so much. I would describe it more as glamorous vintage,” says Elizabeth.
How great are these custom made bobbleheads Jamie had made for himself and his groomsmen? It’s possible Jamie’s work with the Milwaukee Brewers inspired this idea!
Jamie’s mom couldn’t resist doing her own guerilla style photography from the bushes!
The wind caught Elizabeth’s veil and sent it straight in the air. This was a moment no one in this photo will ever forget.
This look on Elizabeth’s face when she first saw the gorgeous ballroom at the Grain Exchange was priceless. We work with Grain Exchange a lot and they always do an amazing job taking care of their clients. You can even see Maria making a rare appearance above!
Jamie was particularly excited about this dip and how it could play out for the Moving Picture Show (watch the whole thing or jump to 14:40). Hearing that level of excitement and even the active participation in the production of the final movie was particularly exciting for Eron. He likes to remain as unobtrusive as possible to maintain the realness of the moment. However, when he’s invited to circle around a first dance knowing it will only make the experience and the product better, he relishes the opportunity!
