Grain Exchange Wedding: Kaitie & Curtis!
When Kaitie and Curtis started planning their Grain Exchange wedding, they weren’t sure where to start with photography. They weren’t looking to transform themselves into models but still wanted to have awesome photos to remember the day. “We are looking forward to a very exciting, fun and energetic wedding. We just want pictures that capture the moments so we can look back in 50 years and remember what a blast it was. We both come from fairly large families and love a good party,” explained Kaitie.
That’s perfect for us! We love nothing more than telling a real story as it unfolds, picking our moments to direct the action when the light suits.
It was a treat to start the day in Bay View’s Tease Salon. We love keeping it local.
Things got emotional when Kaitie and Curtis exchanged letters prior to the ceremony. Somehow they were able to resist the urge to peek around that inviting corner, preserving the surprise of seeing each other until they were on opposite ends of the fateful aisle.
This is THE bench where Curtis proposed so many months ago! It was one of the few must-haves on the shot list for these two.
Harsh mid-day sun? No problem! Give us a few moments on The Marsupial Bridge on Milwaukee’s East Side and we can make some magic happen!
Kaitie, being a fervent Marquette alum, quickly turned Curtis into a Golden Eagles fan. That shared passion manifested itself in the above centerpiece. Not to mention the fantasy football champion table!
Once again winning the award for Most Fun Flaming Dessert feature is the Grain Exchange s’mores station!
