Grain Exchange Wedding: Katy & Charles!
Katy and Charles’s Grain Exchange wedding was in the works for a long time before this amazing day finally arrived. This gave them enough time to really think of just about every detail imaginable. Katy and Charles are just about the sweetest, most thoughtful couple you could imagine. Katy really means it when she thanks you for something and Charles won’t let you pick anything up without offering to help. They put a lot of thought into their photos and wanted to make the most of this opportunity, but they didn’t have a ton of experience in front of the camera. So it was extra helpful to have enough time to really get to know each other through a bunch of meetings, questionnaires, Pinterest sharing, and a two-part engagement session!
Katy put it like this: “Build a relationship with your photographer so you can get to know each other and to understand what your wedding vision is. Charles and I weren’t used to having someone take posed pictures of us, but Eron coached us through how to act natural and have fun. Being able to communicate on what you like or dislike in photos makes for a great experience and a fun one on your wedding day!”
Katy had a great group of friends to help her get ready. This was one of our favorite moments that really captured her joy that morning.
Charles is a brave man, but a little liquid courage never hurts on your wedding morning.
Everyone knows how beautiful the Grain Exchange is on the inside, but we love the outside view as well!
Katy’s aunt bedazzled these tiny white pumpkins for her. They were the perfect complement to her place card table!
This was the moment after Katy and Charles finally saw the finished room in all its glory. “Our favorite wedding details was our room reveal, we got to see our reception room before any of our guests and Eron was able to capture that moment for us. We also loved having some private pictures away from our wedding party just my husband and me, it was a great little get away for a few minutes to really take in the whole night.”
Eron noticed this shadow on the wall and just loved how well it captured Katy and Charles’ love for each other and the feel of the room that night.
