Grain Exchange Wedding: Sara & Brian!
A terrific day full of love, laughter and fun, we’re so glad the Front Room team was a part of Sara and Brian’s Grain Exchange wedding. There was plenty of sentiment and little moments that made the day so special. Brian wore his late father’s Allen Edmond shoes to walk with him every step of the day while Sara opted to wear her something blue also as a nod to her groom’s profession as a police officer.
After such a wonderful wedding, we asked them what advice they’d give to couples preparing for their own big day. Sara suggests, “Focus on the details that are important to you as a couple. For us, those details were who would deliver our ceremony, the photography, music and the venue experience. As early as possible, start researching services. Being “out-of-towners”, neither of us were familiar with what would be offered in Milwaukee. Only one [vendor], a Reverend, was already booked 11-months in advance. While disappointed we couldn’t get her, we asked her for a referral. Thinking a credible, quality provider will know others of the same caliber, don’t hesitate to ask for referrals. We booked the referral and received a perfect ceremony for us.”
Eron was particularly proud of these two and the images created showcasing their love. At one point, they even moved a boat for a nighttime beauty shot! It was tied up at the dock and they untied it and dragged it out of frame.
Thank you, Sara and Brian for all your wisdom and flexibility, your willingness to roll with whatever crazy idea Eron had and allowing us to be part of your beautiful day. To many more years of happiness and love!
