Hotel Metro Wedding: Abby & Josh!

Abby and Josh are a couple that embody an awesome balance of confidence, drive, empathy, and sweetness. From the moment we met, it was clear that they would have a wedding that was exactly to their tastes and they would be super appreciative of every single person that shared the experience with them. By limiting their guest list to 30 special people, half of whom were in the wedding party, they ensured that they could spend their valuable minutes that day with only those closest to them. This plan also allowed them to have everything at Zen on Seven atop Hotel Metro overlooking downtown Milwaukee. Their Hotel Metro wedding was everything they hoped for: simple, elegant, and fun!

We love Abby’s ring (above) on the sparkly table linens. Can you find Josh’s ring? It’s the black circle hanging out in the middle of the wonderfully representative phrase “I love weird” featured on Abby’s pillow. What you can’t see is Josh’s pillow that reads “I am weird”.

Abby and her ladies introduced us to the concept of a Harlem Shake and we took full advantage to make some crazy wedding photos.

Somehow Abby was able to execute this jumping without spilling ANY champagne! Now that’s talent!

From one roof to another, we shot Josh and his guys on the roof of his condo before heading to Hotel Metro’s roof for the rest of the day!

We snuck the wedding party to the Riverwalk to take advantage of the beautiful afternoon light. The bridge did go up on us while we were shooting these photos. Luckily we scurried off before it became dangerous. Barely.
