Iron Horse Wedding: Bridget & Jeremiah!
Bridget and Jeremiah’s Iron Horse wedding was more than just the two of them coming together. On a micro level, their new family also includes her kids Nicholas and Mia. On a macro level there was a whole community of people that came to support them. It was a fun day with a great couple in a classic hotel and the weather even cooperated (mostly).
The Iron Horse, in Milwaukee’s Fifth Ward, is a fantastic hotel chock full of character. Ostensibly, it is Harley themed, but really it’s pretty eclectic and has a lot of great features from the bar to the American flag made out of Levi’s (see above) to the random tools and gears (see below) that decorate the lobby. They are also dog-friendly!
There is little more special than three generations of ladies helping each other prepare for a wedding day.
Bridget’s dad waited a long time to see his daughter in a white dress feeling so happy. It was a joy to see this reaction on his face.
Truth be told, Jeremiah isn’t the biggest fan of photos. However, he is the biggest fan of Bridget. It’s amazing what a guy will do for the woman he loves. If you look closely, you may even pick up on a smile or two on his face in this collection!
This Iron Horse Hotel wedding had everything we could hope for just in and around this amazing building. The Library was home to the ceremony as well as some photos of Bridget and Jeremiah right afterward. Then we stole away to their room for some more photos before joining the cocktail hour. The wonderful light coming through the huge windows and the clean lines of the furniture provided a great opportunity for some classic portraits of the two of them.
We snuck them out to the 6th Street Viaduct for the last bits of rich blue sky just after the sunset. We adore this setting and try to take advantage of it with every Iron Horse wedding we get to be a part of.
