Bethany and Charlie’s story’s a really good one that we’re proud to have gotten to know. They met in middle school, courted each other (there’s debate on who liked who first) with decked out lockers and their great senses of humor.
But through the years, they’ve lived in different states and distance is a tricky thing to overcome. Sometimes the year passed as friends, sometimes they were more, but regardless, they were always in each other’s lives. They’ve seen each other through their accomplishments and growth and have a strong, mature bond because of it.
Since then, they’ve reunited in the great Centennial State with their two dogs, Stella and Cody. After Bethany relocated to Colorado and joined Charlie, the two lovebirds spend time rock climbing and adventuring in the great outdoors.
Over “shivered with excitement” before their ceremony and were troopers in the Wisconsin cold, which we definitely appreciate!
But Charlie and Bethany definitely won best reception entrance – he came skating in on heelies! Their first dance was pretty impressive too, they had it choreographed and cut the music to fit their routine. In their moments alone in the Milwaukee Art Museum’s Windhover Hall, they ran through their routine and were basically professionals when it was time for the limelight! They even sang along and looked super comfortable as they west coast swing danced or rumba’ed through the grand hall of the Milwaukee Art Museum.
With a love story over 10 years in the making, we’re excited to see what they do in the next 10 years. Congratulations, Bethany and Charlie!
