Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Allison & Brian!
Allison and Brian had two goals for their engagement session: an awesome photo with their dog Hazel and some snowy photos. Check and check! You’d think getting a snowy engagement session in February in Wisconsin wouldn’t be too difficult, but it really does take some flexible scheduling to make it happen. Luckily, on this Saturday, Eron had no weddings and enough of a window his calendar to pull it off.
They actually split this up into two parts of the day. They started in the afternoon for the Hazel portion of the shoot and then wrapped it up in the evening at peak snow fall. The afternoon shoot was pleasantly temperate and, even though there wasn’t any pretty snow falling, Eron was able to use his newfound love for leafless trees to find wonderful ways to frame this little family. The fact that Eron had a Chocolate Lab also named Hazel (who looked almost exactly like Allison and Brian’s Hazel) was a fun bonding subject for all.
Getting back together in the evening for the snowy portion of the shoot was incredible. Shooting around the Iron Horse there were plenty of wonderful opportunities for beautiful, dramatic imagery. Shooting during a snowfall is a physically taxing activity, but it is so worth it. These are the dreamy scenarios we all hope for when scheduling a winter engagement session and we are so happy it came together for Allison and Brian.
