Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Sara & Brian!
Sara and Brian are Harley enthusiasts through and through. So, when looking for a Milwaukee engagement photographer, the obvious ideal locations that came to them were Iron Horse Hotel and Harley Davidson Museum. Luckily, we have friends at both locations and they were happy to accommodate us! We were hoping for falling snow (the best look for a Wisconsin winter day) and we got it!
The best approach to a winter engagement session is having some indoor options to be able to warm up a bit and get more variety in the images. Having these two beautiful spaces as home bases was a great way to go into this experience with Sara and Brian.
Being a vet, this photo (above) in front of the denim flag (made from Levi’s 501’s) featured in Iron Horse Hotel’s lobby were extra special to Brian. Eron wanted to explore and found this bit of steam to add drama to the image out behind the hotel.
Harley Davidson Museum is a gem, both culturally and photographically, in Milwaukee’s Menomonee Valley. If you haven’t experienced it as a local, you really should. It’s educational, fun and fascinating. Sara and Brian suggested it because of their love of riding, but Eron embraced the idea because of all the potential the space has. We have had many weddings there, but this was our first engagement session on the campus.
There are endless opportunities inside the museum itself, some subtle and abstract (above), some screaming Harley Davidson in neon letters (below).
Getting outside they found exactly what they were hoping for: a winter wonderland. Eron knew the title wall of the museum and the tower would be lit and was just hoping that the night they reserved for this would bless them with snow to bring it all together. It all ended up as epic as anyone could hope.
