Milwaukee engagement photos in the winter obviously require a bit of a different approach than any other time of year. Rather than starting before sunset, we prefer waiting for some the night to approach in winter. That replaces the slushy ugliness of winter with the glow of the city. If we get lucky, we may even get some sparkly snow in there!
With Bridget + Sean’s wedding coming up in August, we needed to get these going so they could have them to use for Save the Date cards. They rescheduled once due to lack of snow, but this was going to happen, snow or shine, as they case may be. The weather gods smiled on us because it was an absolutely perfect snow for the situation.

Eron has always dreamed of making something with this mysterious structure on Milwaukee’s East Side. This was a request of his as they were about to wrap up this portion of the blizzard shooting. But, he pushed for one more image and he’s so glad he did!
Bridget + Sean had their first date at this Colectivo! When they mentioned that to Eron he knew they had to end this shoot here. What he didn’t know is that he’d fall in love with this location for a winter shoot! It’s hard to imagine a better scenario for framing people against snow.
