Despite its wintery glamour and a dance party that couldn’t keep even Bucky Badger away, Jacqueline and Chase’s Delafield Hotel wedding was remarkable for the strong sense of community and love surrounding them. Naturally, when we asked them what their favorite part of the wedding day was, their answer was no surprise.
“It was so much fun to hang out with my bridal party all day before the ceremony. It reminded me of how special these women are to me. Their love and support lead me to my husband, who (thankfully) was waiting for me at the alter!” Not to be left out, Lacey, their sweet senior dog, was able to be there for their wedding and even sported a “Dog of Honor” bandana for the occasion.
But we think that their wedding was pretty spectacular and a perfect winter wedding. The newlyweds recommend coming in a with a plan, but knowing when to be flexible. “Not everything is going to go according to plan and sometimes that’s for the best…but it IS important to have a plan.” For instance, Jacqueline’s flowers did not arrive before their bridal party portraits but nevertheless, the groups look chic and you can tell they’re close knit. It’s that flexibility and community that made the day so wonderful.
We loved partying it up on the dance floor alongside you both and wish you all the happiness!
