Wedding Rehearsal Milwaukee: Natalie & Robert!
Wedding Rehearsal Milwaukee: It’s always a treat when we get to shoot the wedding rehearsal and dinner for a couple. Natalie and Robert gave us one of those opportunities and it was really special. The rehearsal itself was at Christ Church in Mequon an the folks there could not have been more warm and welcoming. Even though this isn’t the actual wedding, it’s the beginning of the wedding weekend and the first official event that reminds everyone how close the wedding suddenly is! It’s also the first time that everyone is together and there’s a wonderful energy that comes along with that.
It’s always cool to see the bride and her dad walking down the aisle for the first time.
At a rehearsal we also get to choose angles that we can’t during am actual ceremony. Eron was able to walk right onto the altar and get this reverse angle against the spotlights. It’s a great look but something he wouldn’t dream of doing during a real wedding ceremony. For the rehearsal dinner, Natalie and Robert chose Zarletti Mequon. It was conveniently located near the church and has a great private party room upstairs. The food was amazing and it was the perfect choice for this evening.
The rehearsal dinner is also very special to be a part of. It’s the first change everyone gets to relax together and socialize. Also, it’s a great place to give wedding party and parent gifts. Natalie and her ladies were all very excited about their monogrammed bags and cozy stoles. The toasts in the intimate atmosphere of a rehearsal dinner can also be very emotional. Robert’s dad’s toast had some elements of a roast which had everyone in stitches, but it was also a very touching dedication to his son and new daughter-in-law.
