We have the pleasure of doing a lot of event photography at the epic Milwaukee Art Museum. Over the years, we have had many opportunities to shoot directly for the museum, documenting the highlights of their annual calendar of events. Because of this, we wonder how many more times they can surprise us. But, this was yet another of those occasions and it was a really special one. Chef Richard Blais led an extreme culinary demo for a select group in the museum’s cafe. Access to this unique event allowed this audience witnessed the most elemental tools of the trade. Indeed, everything from fire to ice was being used in unorthodox ways. This was definitely “don’t try this at home” territory, which made the experience all that much more rarified.
