The patrons at Mayfair mall were treated to quite a surprise this past leap day. Little did they know the mall had put together a Leap Day Fest, celebrating this extra shopping day we were all blessed with. Playing off of the “leap theme”, there were arial acrobatics, other circus performers, a photo station area, and a crafts table. In addition to the activities and entertainment, there were various participating stores throughout the mall offering discounts. Event photography like this is always a blast.
We weren’t really sure what to expect walking into the shoot. Neither were our contacts, as it turns out. There were three other events like this going on around the country this day. The two happening to the east of us had already kicked off and the crowds were a bit thin. So, we were thrilled when our locals flocked to the event enthusiastically. We love it when we have a chance to use our event photography to make Milwaukee look awesome.
Not only did we get to make some stunning still imagery for this event, but we also got to shoot video! We were thrilled about this because video is definitely an appropriate medium to highlight this active content.
