It is so thrilling to see the Milwaukee commercial event industry start to come to life. Of course, that keeps us busy and we are grateful for that. But it also feels great to see people being honored for things again!
In this case, it was an amazing array of home improvements that were being celebrated by NARI Milwaukee (National Association of the Remodeling Industry). It is really inspiring to see what these talented folks can pull off.
NARI also took an interesting approach to making sure this event was safe to attend. As is standard these days, they administered temperature checks for guests as they entered and hand sanitizer was everywhere. But, they also fully embraced mask culture, as well. By working a masquerade into the theme of the evening, they encouraged everyone to have fun with the “new normal”. They even had a best mask contest that featured a Mexican wrestling mask!
Hosted at the new Brookfield Conference Center and emceed by radio legend Steve “The Homer” True, this evening was fun, entertaining, and kind of like a reunion.
