We called upon Eron, our resident cool dad Milwaukee family photographer / baby whisperer, to document these little guys’ first birthday. But Alex and Jack weren’t quite sold on the idea at first. Read on to see how Alex went from this (clearly, unimpressed. He’s basically saying “do I have to?”)

Their mom, Jen’s been a fan of ours for a while – since she was 18! She was hired by her family’s friend to help clean out the Avalon building after purchase and it just so happened, we had moved out of the Avalon space to our current location. While cleaning, she stumbled upon some of our work and was wowed! She promised herself that’d she’d hire those photographers once she got married! A true lady of her word, we got the call to photograph Geoff & Jen’s wedding in 2016. Afterwards, they packed up and moved away to St. Louis. But the gang’s all back together now that they’ve moved back to the Milwaukee area! Luckily, they’ve got two new pals for us – Alex and Jack!
It was their first birthday the day we had their Milwaukee family photographer session – so we had to have cake! The boys had an adorable cowboy theme going on from their outfits to the topping on their tiny cakes. With some cowboy hat tugging and goofy behavior behind the camera with a little cake thrown in, Alex and Jack were happy 1 year olds. Their little tummies and leg rolls were covered in frosting and baby belly laughs were floating in the air.
