Milwaukee Portrait Photographer: A Family in the Park!

The developing personalities a Milwaukee portrait photographer encounters are truly astounding.  Each child is such a unique combination of bits of each parent along with the little quirks that are starting to define this new life. Liam as nothing if not filled with personality.  This came as no surprise to us.  We got to know a couple of the generations that helped make this little guy possible while photographing his parent’s wedding in the summer of 2015. In fact, his mom and great grandma are featured on the wall of our studio right now!

There isn’t much more that makes us feel all warm inside than hearing from one of our wedding couples when they are looking for a Milwaukee portrait photographer. Documenting the very start of a new family is a huge honor. Continuing to document the story of that same growing family is so validating of the wedding photography as well as the relationship we forged with them.  We absolutely love the idea that our photos could tell a family’s entire evolution as their kids grow and their walls get filled with our art.

Margaret and Mike didn’t have many specific ideas for this shoot, but documenting Liam’s birthmark was on the must have list.

The look that new parents give their baby is something we will never tire of.  As a couple is just starting to figure out what this parenting thing is all about, there is one concept that is not too mysterious: they love this kid more than they thought possible.  As time goes on, they will continue to be amazed as they learn how deep this love can grow.

We always recommend bringing personal items that will make the photos that much more special.  Margaret and Mike knew this “Liam” blanket would be the perfect back drop!
