Milwaukee Portrait Photographer: A Family in the Park (with the dog!)

In the life of a Milwaukee portrait photographer, it doesn’t get much better than this trifecta: an eager dog, an adorable little girl, and a ton of leaves on the ground. We adore any opportunity to get together with a family for a quick park shoot. Fall is a wonderful time of year for this kind of shoot and this is the time to start thinking about your fall portraits!

The light is soft, the weather is temperate and the leaves are both colorful and plentiful. All types of portrait work have their place, but the simple park shoot where a child’s personality shines through holds a special place in our hearts. There is so much warmth in a casual family shoot. It’s almost like having professional images of those moments as a parent that you normally just experience but would love to be able to remember forever.
