Milwaukee Portrait Photographer: A Family in the Park!

Amanda had the joy of photographing Lauren and Nick’s wedding a few years ago. Now that their family has grown to include Millie the dog and Wyatt the son, they were in need of a Milwaukee portrait photographer. We were so thankful we were the first people they thought of! It means the world to us to be able to document the day when a couple gathers everyone they love and becomes a family. When their family grows and they come back years later, it just as moving to us. We cherish these stories and whenever we get to add another chapter, on some level, it validates everything we are doing.

As beautiful as the color of these leaves was, we couldn’t resist featuring the above image in black & white. This choice really allows the viewer to focus on the textrure of the leaves and grass and trees. Also, Millie looks so striking in black and white!

The story of a family is certainly about the love a couple shares for each other and how that is enhanced by the addition of a child. The relationship each parent has with their child is unique and a different part of that story. Often moms are the cuddlers and dads are the “tosser in the air”-ers, but every family has their own dynamic and we pride ourselves on picking up on the spirit of each of these relationships.
