We have a number of different signature looks we offer for our in-studio headshot photography. Of course, any of them are customizable. But, having a base amount of options is very handy to start the conversation. One of the benefits is also having consistent offerings over time. We have some companies that send new hires to us very regularly. But, we also have some clients with a small team that may come back after a year to add one more headshot to the collection. Being able to match the new one to the old ones is very important.
This is our in studio, warm background look. We use a warm hair light to differentiate the hairline from the background and to give a subtle glow to the subject. Fun fact: we actually are not using a background at all for this look! These are the hard wood floors in our studio, just very out of focus. We are blessed with a large picture-window which is where this beautiful light is coming from. It also has a perfect ledge for us to perch on and get the angle we need to accomplish this look.
