Atrium Milwaukee Wedding: Sam & Brandon!
Sam and Brandon put together an amazing Atrium Milwaukee wedding with one simple mantra: “When you are stressed with the whole process, take time to be together! Distract yourself from the little things by just going out to do something fun and have a good time!” This is pretty good advice for life in general and it thrills us that an awesome couple like Sam and Brandon totally get it!
Of course, when you have an amazing team of vendors, it certainly makes it easier to relax on a wedding day. We will let Sam tell you what we could not: “From the first time we met with Eron, to working with Lidia on our big day, Front Room constantly gives the vibe you need to make the day easy! Chef Jack’s was AMAZING to work with as well. The professional yet family feeling they exude is above and beyond. The guys at the Atrium/ Sound by Design – so easy going and fun! Late night popcorn from Goody Gourmet – too good. And finally, for the flowers, we worked with the gals at Sendicks in Whitefish Bay and the final result was beyond our expectations!”
There is always something very grounded about a bride getting ready at her childhood home. There is familial history in the air and the sense that this is another in the long line of memories that have been created in this space. How many times did Sam’s parents imagine this eventual day while she was in diapers, learning to read, starting to date,…all in this house.
This was supposed to be Sam’s Dad’s private first look but the dog couldn’t help getting in the action!
The ceremony at Calvary Church was a moving experience for everyone. Afterward, Lidia took Sam, Brandon, and the bridal party down the street for some photos on Marquette University’s campus. This is always a beautiful spot in autumn.
They all made a quick stop at Discovery World for another totally different look for wedding party photos. Sam and Brandon were also able to talk their way aboard the Denis Sullivan! You literally need permission from the captain to board the ship, but a beautiful bride has a way of getting most anything she wants on her wedding day and Sam is no exception.
The rest of the night was spent at The Atrium, Shorewood’s newest and hottest reception venue. It is a very cool space inside and out. There is a great rooftop terrace that is equally great for cocktails as well as late-night beauty (see below).
