Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Cristina & Joe!
As a Milwaukee engagement photographer, we are always trying to see a couple in the best light. This can be taken a couple ways. Interpreting their best qualities individually and as a unit is one interpretation and it is an apt one. But we also literally want to find the best way to use the light that is available to us. To that end, we do our best to plan the location and timing with light quality in mind. Of course, if the day ends up being a cloudy one, the best laid plans can be for naught. This is precisely the situation on a wedding day, so we have worked those creative muscles for years.
Cristina and Joe had no light challenges whatsoever. The afternoon they chose for the engagement session was a crisp, bright autumn day. The leaves on the trees were in peak color and every angle seemed more beautiful than the last one. Lidia was in Milwaukee engagement photographer heaven.
It was also not a challenge to interpret Cristina and Joe in a positive light. They are high school sweethearts who have been in love for as long as either can remember. That easy breezy togetherness is as obvious in these images as it was in person.
This late afternoon flare is one of our favorite looks. It’s at once epic and private. It’s epic in that it looks so cinematic. It’s private in the sense that it makes Cristina and Joe look like they are in their own magical world together.
This window of time when the leaves look like this is one of the most popular for engagement sessions. If you are planning your own engagement session, talk to your photographer early about getting something set up for October because those days can fill up quickly.
