Milwaukee Public Museum Wedding: Michelle & Niall!
When Michelle and Niall called us about their Milwaukee Public Museum wedding, they warned us it would not be traditional. They loved our work but also wanted to make sure a staple of the wedding industry like us would be able to embrace their totally non-traditional vision. We reassured them that we pride ourselves on our ability to blend into any scene and interpret the character of all couples. Any couple that makes their day their own and lives it to its fullest is a couple for us. Then they met Lidia, took in her free-spirit energy, and we were off to the races!
Dinosaurs are a big deal for Michelle and Niall. They were no small part in their decision to choose to have a Milwaukee Public Museum wedding.
Michelle and Niall flipped a lot of wedding conventions on their head. Their event began with a cocktail hour so they could be sure to greet everyone. They had an amazing “guest tree” that they asked their guests to contribute to by writing well wishes on leaves. Eventually, a ceremony began! All the toasts that often happen at a reception occurred during the ceremony. Michelle performed two songs, one was with her dad and very sweet. The other, ironically, was Vanessa Carlson’s “I Don’t Want To Be A Bride“. Don’t worry, Niall got the joke.
Michelle and Niall worked all of their favorite things into their wedding day. Friends, family, dinosaurs, irony…the only thing left was Paddy’s Pub! So they took the party to the Milwaukee’s east side to wrap up the evening!
