The Rotunda Wedding: Joua & Nghi!
When Joua and her aunt (who’s more like a sister) came to see us about The Rotunda wedding she was planning, it was merely a couple of months before the wedding. We have seen this short timeline as a growing trend over the last couple years. With venues booking up really quickly and far into the future, couples are sometimes faced with a tough choice: wait a year and a half for the perfect venue on the perfect Saturday or pick a Friday or Sunday and get this marriage going already!
This was certainly the case for Joua and Nghi. Luckily, they found a perfect location in The Rotunda in Waukesha. With a classic facade and an updated interior, this former bank has a style all its own! As Joua describes it, “Know what you want, communicate with all vendors, follow your instincts with design and decisions, have fun, add your own personal touches, and remember it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful!”
Of course, the bones of a venue are only one aspect of that choice and only one of the long list of choices in planning a wedding. In addition to the aesthetics of all these choices are the people creating those aesthetics. “Chef Jack’s and The Rotunda have been amazing. We only had 3 months to plan our wedding and they were great throughout the process. Of course, we can’t forget about Front Room. Working with Eron, Lidia, and Neil [with Front Room] was a blessing in helping us pull everything together. Love their personalities as well.”
