Steel Mountain Marketing saw an interesting intersection in our Milwaukee commercial photography: experience in manufacturing as well as environmental headshots. These skill-sets combined to make us an easy choice for this project.
Their goal was to show the world that steel manufacturing has come a long way through technological innovations and modernization. This is a story they know all too well, but the rest of the world hasn’t seen an update in quite a while. That’s where we came in.
Steel Mountain Marketing had seen our work inside manufacturing facilities before. This gave them the confidence to turn us loose knowing we wouldn’t interfere with the work of the day. This freedom allowed us so many natural opportunities to see these folks in action. It also let us explore and find the art that was everywhere in this situation.
Finally, we added a little something extra: environmental headshots. This industry, as is the case with all industries, comes down to the people. These are the folks pushing things forward. We didn’t feel complete without bringing out their individual character in the setting they call home.
