Event Venue on Milwaukee’s Lower East Side
You can’t miss this stately building on Milwaukee’s Lower East Side. 1451 Renaissance Place is an elegant building from the early days of our city. Style of the space:
Historic and grand – not a typical event space.
They only book one event at a time, so it is private. It feels like a special place, tasteful and elegant, with minimal decor so you can make it your own.

History of Renaissance Place:
It was built in the early 1900s as a Christian Science Church.
The architect was Solon Spencer Beman, who also designed the town of Pullman, IL.
It was converted into an event venue in the 1980s.
The arched area on the stage used to be a pipe organ loft. You can see the sloped ceiling in the cocktail room, that is from the pew seating that used to be upstairs.
The metal air duct covers match the stained glass of the adjacent windows. (Beautiful!)
