Cuvee Wedding: Kayla & Nate!

Kayla had Nate had a fairytale of a Cuvee wedding. A laid back couple, a wonderful crowd of friends and family, and amazing locations are some of the components we know will lead to a fantastic experience. We knew right off the bat that Kayla and Nate would be great to work with. Kayla sums up their approach like this: “Take your time and have fun. Make choices about your day that reflect your relationship with each other so it truly becomes a celebration about the two of you.”

Kayla’s dress and accessories were just stunning and her bridesmaid dresses were the perfect complement.

The Iron Horse Hotel provided a great backdrop for all these details as well as a cozy place for all the ladies to spend their morning. This vintage, stylish hotel is one of our favorites. There are great spaces throughout and the mirrors are perfect for photos!

The bracelet Nate gave Kayla was a great surprise and a wonderful addition to her ensemble.

Nate got a bit contemplative as he envisioned seeing Kayla very soon for the first time in her wedding dress.

The Iron Horse Hotel lobby is a great location for a classic wedding party photo as well as bride and groom photos.

We have always loved the Marsupial Bridge on Milwaukee’s East Side. It’s great in any light or any weather and the lines can’t be beat. On this overcast, rainy day it provided shelter and a dramatic scene for Kayla and Nate.

Kayla and Nate don’t often present as a terribly touchy-feely couple, but this day their affection was on full display and it was so obvious and genuine. Having that comfort level with each other and in front of our cameras can elevate an image from beautiful to moving.

Kayla and Nate had their very own “Lady and the Tramp” moment. Their choice of carb was not spaghetti but a tasty Holey Moley doughnut!
