Grain Exchange Wedding: Megan & Brian!
Megan and Brian began and ended their Grain Exchange wedding reception with the UW Marching Band. Not only are they huge Badger fans, but the band also provided the perfect energizing and soulful soundtrack to match the emotions of their day.
Of course, their day started some 16 hours earlier with Megan and her ladies setting up camp across the street at Hilton Garden Inn. It was a fun morning filled with anticipation.
The emotional prescience of the day came to a head the moment Megan’s dad saw her for the first time. The moment wasn’t lost on Megan’s mom as she tearfully watched her daughter and husband embrace on this long-awaited day.
After starting his day at Groom for Men, Brian and the guys helped each other prep for the day. We especially love Brian’s family heirloom cufflinks. It’s these little details that both mean so much to our couples and make these stories so personal.
This stairwell at Hilton Garden Inn is a perfect location for an emotional first look.
Doing the first look gave Megan, Brian and their wedding party had time to go to the lake for some photos and hang out at one of their favorite haunts, The Old German Beer Hall before the ceremony!
Belle Fiori did an amazing job of setting the stage for a Turner Hall wedding ceremony no one will forget anytime soon.
We always keep a look out for emotions coming to the surface throughout a wedding day. You never know when they will peak, so you always have to be ready. One of the reasons we love this couple and these families is they let the emotions come out.
Keeping with the theme of the city and the day, Megan and Brian shared a unity beer! When you’re getting married in Cream City, that seems like the only logical choice!
The Grain Exchange is one of downtown Milwaukee’s most beautiful and classic spaces. With Bartolotta catering leading the way, it is a guarantee the night will run smoothly and the food will be amazing every time.
Following a set of entertaining and emotional toasts and event dances, the UW Marching Band surprised everyone and really got the party started.
