Milwaukee Engagement Photographer: Natalie & Steve!
Natalie and Steve weren’t just looking for a Milwaukee engagement photographer. They were searching for the perfect fit for their wedding and knew their engagement session vision would help them narrow the field. Many couples have very little idea what they would like to do for their engagement session. It was a refreshing change of pace to have very specific ideas come our way in our first conversation! The fact that this will be our third wedding with this family may have helped prepare them a bit for the experience.
When Steve started thinking of ways to propose to Natalie, he knew he wanted to do something very special. He just needed an accomplice – enter their brand new puppy, Penny.
Natalie retells the story like this, “We were about to take a family photo with our new puppy when he asked me what was on her collar. He had added an additional dog tag with “Will you marry my daddy?” written on it. That was when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Best day ever: A puppy and an engagement.”
After we heard that story, Neil knew that he had to update the family photo! As you can see, Penny is now 4 months old and at least 4 times the size she was on that fateful day!
Including their puppy wasn’t the only plan for the engagement session. Natalie and Steve also had dreamed of using the River Wildlife Cabin at the American Club Resort as their location. We were so lucky to have a snowy backdrop and it gave them an excuse to expand their wardrobe! We love when a cold engagement session gets cuddly with the use of wraps and cozy sweaters!
Neil ended this bright, snowy engagement session with the moody coziness inside the stunning cabin. Neil can’t wait to see them again at the September wedding at the Osthoff Resort!
