Over the Vines Wedding: Natalie & Ian!
Natalie and Ian took us along on their wedding adventure all the way from a small ceremony in New York’s Central Park in December to their huge party at Over the Vines in Wisconsin in October! Each part of their wedding experience could not have been more different from the other nor more perfect for the two of them. We love couples who make it their own and Natalie and Ian are a perfect example of that.
A little rain could not dampen the spirits of this joyous crowd.
Nothing frames a wedding dress better than some old doors in a weathered barn with a pop of color from the flowers. A couple hours later, this would become the altar on which Natalie and Ian would declare their love for and dedication to each other in front of all the ones they love.
Natalie’s mother-in-law helped with her final preparations. Notice all the reflections that add an element of art to this quiet, emotional moment.
Neil loves him some bowties. It’s one of the many things he and Ian bonded over during their experience together.
In case you were questioning the patriotism of this group of guys, question no longer. They wear their patriotism on their calves like any good countryman!
The look of adoration this flower girl has is just precious.
There is something very special about a stolen kiss during a recessional. It is a testament to the outpouring of love that only happens once (or twice, for these two) in a couple’s journey together.
When the wind and the light catch the veil just right, it is a dramatic, framable moment. Neil is the best at catching them!
A simple strand of string lights can create the most beautiful backdrop for a bride.
In their own personal wedding portfolio, Natalie and Ian already had skyscrapers and Grand Central Station. Now they have the quietude of the Wisconsin countryside and big skies to balance it out!
It was very special for Natalie to have her nieces as her flower girls. These are the kinds of memories that become part of family history and bond people together forever. It doesn’t hurt that they are completely adorable!
Just because you’re having a wedding in a barn doesn’t mean you can’t dress it up! Natalie and Ian brought a New York flair to the barn with their table linens, champagne flutes, and floral arrangements. They also embraced the rusticness of it all with fun wood accents and signage.
Don’t love cake? Neither do Natalie and Ian. That’s why they chose these amazing pies from Humble Pie as a perfect after-dinner sweet treat for their guests! Don’t fall prey to a wedding tradition if it’s not you. Make it your own!
