Pabst Best Place Wedding: Sally & James!
In this world of Pinterest and Instagram, couples have a myriad of sources for inspiration for their weddings. Some use these resources to find vendors to hire for their wedding. Sally and James are true DIY’ers, even making their own boutonnieres, bouquets, and centerpieces for their Pabst Best Place wedding. Planning their Milwaukee wedding from a great distance, there’s no doubt the internet helped greatly in their process.
Overall, it was a pretty simple day they were looking for. There were no hair and makeup photos, no bridal details, no getting ready. Neil’s day started with a first look, the moment Sally and James saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire. It was an emotional one. With rain threatening to come down on their bridal parade, umbrellas were close at hand, just in case.
In the end, some dramatic clouds were a big payoff and Neil made the most of them in his trademark dramatic style.
After their first stop at the Milwaukee Art Museum, it was back to the Pabst neighborhood for the remainder of the day. Keeping it simple again, Neil made the most of the Brewhouse Inn and Suites for wedding party photos as well as photos of just Sally and James. It is a great hotel with so many cool locations for photos!
We love these personalized steins Sally and James made for everyone! Over the years, our collection of wedding-oriented drinking vessels has grown. Whenever we pick one up it reminds us of the great time we had that day.
Sally and James also made the sweet bird cake toppers! We love them and think they are perfectly representative of Sally and James’s collective character.
