The Osthoff Resort Wedding: Natalie & Steve!
Natalie and Steve’s Osthoff Resort wedding was a great reminder of why we love our clients. “Everything will work out. Do not stress the small things, but rather focus on the purpose of the day: marrying your best friend. Have an organized list of photos you want at various times throughout the day, this helped us immensely. Lastly, make sure you find time for a few moments alone, those were our favorite parts of our day. This allowed us to take a step back from everything going on around us and enjoy each other,” explained Natalie.
We have been pushing the idea from the beginning that a wedding day is not a photoshoot. It’s a day of memories, some recalled, some being formed moment to moment. With the right amount of communication and preparation, your photographer can fit right into that experience, ready to document and enhance those moments rather than disrupt them.
In the above collage, there is an image of Natalie and her mom the moment after she’s ready and an image of Natalie’s dad seeing her for the first time. The “dad reveal” is something we’ve been suggesting and documenting more and more recently. It’s such a special moment. There is literally a lifetime of love, memories, and anticipation leading up to this moment in a father and daughter’s relationship. Somehow, the days of jammies and sleepovers have given way to a gown and a husband and the start of a new family.
Not even a constant rainfall could dampen Natalie and Steve’s spirits for their Osthoff Resort wedding.
